Det betyder, at disse kemikalier synes at hj\u00e6lpe planten med at overvinde sygdom og eliminere gamle dele af planten.<\/p>\n<p>Nogle af de samme principper kan v\u00e6re grunden til, at cannabis anses for at kunne hj\u00e6lpe i forhold til kr\u00e6ft. Kr\u00e6ftceller er unormale celler, som aldrig stopper med at vokse eller reproducere sig selv. I mods\u00e6tning til raske celler, som vil blive faset ud og nedbrudt, efterh\u00e5nden som de \u00e6ldes eller bliver skadede, responderer kr\u00e6ftcellerne ikke p\u00e5 den naturlige \u201dlukkemekanisme\u201d, der afg\u00f8r cellens liv og d\u00f8d.<\/p>\n<p>Denne mekanisme kaldes programmeret celled\u00f8d. En af de mest meningsfulde former for programmeret celled\u00f8d kaldes apoptose, som kan anses for at v\u00e6re en form for celleselvmord. THC synes at inducere nekrose<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a> i kr\u00e6ftceller som glioma (hjernekr\u00e6ft)<a href=\"#_ftn4\" name=\"_ftnref4\">[4]<\/a> i b\u00e5de celle-og dyrefors\u00f8g, men dr\u00e6bte ikke raske celler p\u00e5 samme m\u00e5de.<\/p>\n<p>Cannabinoidernes evne til at \u201ct\u00e6nde\u201d for den programmerede celled\u00f8d, er en af grundene til, at cannabis ses som et lovende, nyt redskab for kr\u00e6ftpatienter. Men det er ikke det eneste. Studier med celler og gnavere har vist, at behandling med THC og CBD forebygger, at tumorcellerne kan vokse ved at danne nye blodkar (angiogenese).
